Originally created by the Cortés family in 2010, El Jolgorio is widely acknowledged as one of the finest labels of agave spirits available. El Jolgorio Pechuga is produced from Espadín agave harvested at ten years of age. The liquid is distilled with locally harvested fruit and spices, and it also involves the hanging of a raw turkey breast in the still. The result is an aromatic and full-bodied mezcal, with intense spicy flavours that gradually give way to more botanical notes on the finish.
