Based in Germany’s Mosel region, Weingut Egon Müller is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest white wine producers and the highly revered Scharzhofberg vineyard is the source of some of the greatest Riesling in the country. From the low-yielding but exceptional 2019 vintage, this is an exceptional release made in the incredibly sweet Trockenbeerenauslese style. Scoring it a perfect 100 points in The Wine Advocate, Stephan Reinhardt described it as “inimitable” and “incomparable” with a finish that is “nothing short of endless” and a drinking window of 2030 to 2100.
