The Drift Farm Gift Horse Barbera 2018 is a medium-to-full-bodied single-vineyard red wine produced from Barbera grapes in the Western Cape of South Africa. The Drift Farm wines are carefully crafted by winemaker Bruce Jack using only the highest quality estate-grown fruit. Made from the northern Italian staple variety, Barbera, this wine is rich and alluring, with scents of mulberry, black cherry, white pepper and fynbos herbs. On the palate it is ripe and opulent yet superbly balanced, with supple tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.
