Made from the northern Italian staple variety, Barbera, this wine is rich and alluring, with scents of mulberry, black cherry, white pepper and fynbos herbs. On the palate it is ripe and opulent yet superbly balanced, with supple tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.
