A relatively new gin brand, Downpour was launched in 2019 by Kate MacDonald and Jonny Ingledew, two North Uist natives. Bottled at 46% ABV, the Scottish craft gin is distilled using a blend of citrus fruits and locally foraged ingredients. Expect notes of lemon zest, spices and blossoms of wild Hebridean heather.
