Launched in 2012 by Esteban Morales [La Venenosa] and Sergio Mendoza [Tequila Don Fulano] Derrumbes is an innovative mezcal producer that focuses on different agave varietals and production methods. The Michoacán is named after the Mexican state and combines Chino – also known as Cupreata – and Alto agaves. Bottled at 49.3% ABV, this is a full-bodied, terroir-driven expression, marked by wood smoke, sweet fruitiness, vegetal notes and refreshing acidity.
