Daschbosch Avon Clairette Blanche 2021 is a medium-bodied white wine produced from Clairette Blanche grapes in the Breedekloof Valley of South Africa`s Western Cape. The wine is produced from a salvaged plot of dryfarmed old Clairette Blanche vines in Breedekloof. . It was fermented in used barrels and aged on thick lees with regular bâtonnage for six months, then racked off its thick lees aged in the same barrels for a further two to three months. Winemaker note. "Delicately aromatic with lychee, greengage and citrus fruit. Taut and textural palate with apricot, mango and ripe citrus fruit. Concentrated yet restrained, the fruit perfectly balanced by fresh
acidity and mineral notes. Gently savoury and long on the finish."
