Situated in eastern Napa close to the border with Oak Knoll and Stag`s Leap, Darioush aims to craft world-class wines combining Old World sensibility and the generosity typically associated with Napa Cabs. "Drawn from Atlas Peak and Mt. Veeder fruit, this melds the intensity of earthy, fully ripe, mountain-grown tannin with bright red fruit concentration in the end. Full of black chocolate richness up front, then cherry and cassis flavors in a lasting finish, this feels smooth and classical in its structure. It will only gain complexity with age."
