Dandelion Vineyards is the venture of Zar and Elena Brooks, with wines made from across South Australia. The Lionheart is produced from the estate`s old vine Barossa vineyard - ancient, gnarled vines, many over a hundred years of age, which are not only surviving but thriving on their own roots in some of the oldest soils on the planet. To quote the critic Tom Cannavan, "Rich with black fruit, mint... tannins ultra silky, acidity juicy... well balanced as some creamy older French oak fills out the finish... delicious example of the style."
