Paul Jaboulet Ainé is one of the most highly acclaimed producers of Northern Rhône wine and is capable of making some of the finest wines in the region. Owned since 2006 by the Frey family (also of Château La Lagune in Bordeaux) all their vineyards are now certified organic and are cultivated according to biodynamic principles. The 2017 Domaine de Thalabert Crozes Hermitage is a beautifully perfumed Syrah with delicious notes of bright red fruits, dried lavender and white pepper spice.
