Alain Graillot is one of the more underrated producers in the Northern Rhône Valley, making immensely enjoyable and excellent value wines from his superb holdings in Crozes Hermitage. As is usual, the 2017 Blanc is a blend of 80% Marsanne and 20% Roussanne vinified in a combination of stainless steel and demi-muids. It is lightly rich and textural, with notes of plumptious white fruits, citrus zest, dried flowers and a subtly stoney mineral streak. A wonderfully complete wine superbly well done.
