Susanna Crociani’s ‘Vino Nobile’ is a blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo and 10% Mammolo. After spending 24 months in Slavonian oak and then a further two months in bottle, the wine shows a ruby red colour with orange reflections. The nose is delicate, with pronounced notes of redcurrants and violets. Dry and harmonious, the palate is filled with red fruits, such as redcurrants and cherries, punctuated by spicy notes and a touch of vanilla. Well-structured with granular tannins and a long mouth-filling finish.
