Cos Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico 2021 is a medium-bodied , blended red wine from the Vittoria region of Sicily. The winery, Azienda Agricola COS, was founded in 1980 by three friends. Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano. The name COS is an acronym of their last names. Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a unique and fascinating wine, as it is the only DOCG in Sicily. The blend consists of Nero d`Avola and Frappato grapes. Nero d`Avola contributes structure, body and dark fruit flavours, while Frappato adds elegance, freshness, and aromatic complexity. The wine is typically aged in concrete or stainless-steel tanks, which helps preserve its freshness and fruit-forward character.
