Domaine Alain Voge Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes 2011 is a full-bodied Syrah red wine from the Cornas appellation of the northern Rhône Valley. This cuvée produced from Alain Voge`s modest Syrah vineyard holdings on the decomposed granite slopes of Cornas was one of the standout wines of the 2011 vintage and is perfectly positioned within its prime drinking window. "Superbly concentrated with an inky/purple colour and a layered texture, it reveals copious aromas of blueberries, blackberries and spring flowers intermixed with hints of pen ink, lavender and graphite. Full-bodied as well as supple and accessible, it should keep for 12-15 years." Wine Advocate, 2013
