Owned and operated by the 11th generation of the Chivite family, Bodegas J. Chivite is the oldest and most respected producer in the region of Navarra. Colección 125 was introduced to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the winery and the 2006 Reserva is a blend of 71% Tempranillo, 17% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon from the finest plots on the Legardeta Estate and aged in 60% new French oak for 14 months. Beautifully balanced and silken in texture, this is a deeply satisfying wine with expressive notes of black fruits, exotic spices, dried flowers and cedar.
