Clos Erasmus 2010

Clos Erasmus 2010 is a full-bodied red blend produced in the Priorat region of Catalan Spain. With a reputation for being the finest example of Priorat on the market, this 70/30 blend of Garnatxa and Syrah is produced from three organically farmed parcels (Escalas (1.1 hectare), Aubagues (2.4 hectares), and Socarrats (3.5 hectare)) on the Clos i Terrasses property. The grapes were destemmed and vinified separately before being fermented in 10-15hl wooden vats and matured in 40% new 228l barrels. The 2010 is a blend of 80% Garnacha, 15% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and spent 20 months in barrel.
