Based in the Languedoc-Roussillon, Cyril Fhal is particularly known for his biodynamic and low-intervention approach to winemaking. Le Clos du Rouge Gorge ‘Blanc’ is a white wine made from the Maccabeu grape variety, which is also known as Macabeo in Spain. The vines are grown on schist soils, which contribute to the wine`s minerality and complexity. The wine is aged in new 500-litre barrels and seasoned barriques to lend subtle texture to the exceptionally vibrant and fresh notes of white citrus, lemon verbena, wild thyme, mint and anise.
