Located in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, adjoining the Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac appellations, Château Cissac makes a range of wines based largely on Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2000 vintage reveals a deep and rich nose of red fruits, leather and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry and medium-bodied, with notes of black plums, black cherries, blackcurrants, a touch of vanilla and leather. The wine drinks well now but has potential for further ageing.
