Sergio Arcuri Ciro Riserva Piu Vite 2016 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Gaglioppo (Arvina) grapes in the Calabria region of Italy. This flagship cuvée of Sergio Arcuri was produced from vines planted in the 1940s on limestone and clay soils. The wine was matured in concrete tanks for four years with a further year in bottle before release. No sulphites were added. The Gaglioppo grape variety is strikingly similar to Nebbiolo, typically displaying notes of forest floor, red fruits, tar, roses and exotic spices.
