Ron Cihuatán is the first rum ever produced in El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America. The distillery prides itself on controlling the entire production process of their range, from the seed of the sugarcane all the way to the bottling of its rum. This 12-year-old expression is column distilled and aged in American ex-bourbon barrels. It offers a zesty freshness but also complexity that only comes with age.
