Beatrice & Pascal Lambert Chinon La Croix Boissee 2018 is a medium-bodied red wine produced from biodynamically farmed old Cabernet Franc vines in the Chinon appellation of the Loire Valley. The vines for the La Croix Boissee cuvée grow on mica-limestone soil, producing elegant yet structured Cabernet Franc. The grapes are harvested manually and meticulously sorted before being crushed-destemmed for fermentation. Maceration take place for up to 40 days and the wine is then matured for 24 months in 500l oak barrels.
