Bold, juicy orchard fruit join lightly toasted nuts and a hint of buttery pastry on the nose. The palate is rich and full with brown butter and apple pie alongside lighter, tropical fruits. A lifted finish rounds things off, characterised by a hint of tannin and dryness from the oak barrels - another fantastic entry in the range and another great dram from Ichiro.

Chichibu Distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery located in the small town of Chichibu, northwest of Tokyo. Established in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, it is a relatively young distillery in the world of whisky-making, but has quickly gained a reputation for producing some of the finest single malt whiskies in Japan. Chichibu's whisky-making process is steeped in tradition and attention to detail. The distillery sources only the highest quality malted barley from around the world, and uses a combination of pot stills and column stills to distill the whisky.
