A bottling of Chequers brand blended whisky from the 1970s. Chequers was a deluxe blend from John McEwan and Co. As a brand, it was marketed primarily in the US, but also in Spain and Latin American. The blend is most likely to use a fair amount of Linkwood in the blend as McEwan`s had the license for the distillery during the 1970s.
