Chateauneuf du Pape Vieux Telegraphe 2005

Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is a name synonymous with age-worthy Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Owned and run by the Brunier family for more than a century, it consistently produces some of the finest red wines from this celebrated Southern Rhône appellation. Inscribed in every drop of the flagship Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape rouge is the story of the domaine`s terroir. the Mediterranean climate, the rugged, galet-strewn terrain and the elevation of the Crau plateau, where Vieux Télégraphe`s old-vine fruit gains its concentration, complexity and mineral freshness. Vinification for this wine is as follows. fermentation with partial whole bunches in temperature-controlled stainless steel and oak cuves; around 10 months` resting in cement tanks; then maturation for a further 12 months in oak foudres.
