Domaine Jean Royer is a fairly new estate in the Southern Rhône Valley that only dates back to 1985. The estate is located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, and it has approximately 12 hectares of vineyards. The 2020 vintage of Cuvée Tradition is a Grenache-led Châteauneuf Du Pape, offering up notes of black cherries, mulberry pepper and violets. Absolutely delicious with beef casserole or mushroom risotto.
