Château de la Gardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape L`Immortelle 2010 is a full-bodied red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Famous for the high quality of its southern Rhône wines as well as its unique La Gardine shaped bottles (which have been used consistently by the Brunel family since 1964), Chateau de la Gardine boasts a winemaking history that dates back to the 17th century. L`Immortelle is the top cuvée of the domaine. "Made from equal parts Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah from 65+-year-old vines. It boasts an opaque inky/purple as well as incredibly rich blackberry fruit intermixed with hints of fudge, charcoal, camphor and acacia flowers in addition to sweet, well-integrated tannin. This sensational 2010 Chateauneuf is one of the great classics of the vintage. It should drink well for at least three decades." Robert Parker, 2012
