Bonneau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Célestins 2010 is a full-bodied red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Domaine Henri Bonneau is one of the iconic producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with just six hectares of vineyards. The domaine`s wines are produced mainly from Grenache with small quantities of Mourvèdre, Counoise and Vaccarèse. First made in 1927, the Réserve des Célestins is the top cuvée and most sought-after wine of the domaine. On the 2010. "Saturated ruby. Intense mineral- and spice-accented aromas of candied black and blue fruits, floral pastilles and spicecake. Velvety and expansive on the palate, with powerful black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors lifted and sharpened by juicy acidity. Shows outstanding depth and focus on the tenacious finish, with supple, harmonious tannins coming in late. Conveys a surprisingly cuddly personality for a `10 but this highly concentrated wine has plenty of structure for aging." Vinous, 2015
