Arguably the best wine producer in Lebanon, Château Musar’s vineyards are located at an altitude of over 3,000 feet in the beautiful Bekaa Valley. Their flagship red blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan. The 2002 vintage has an intense and complex nose of spicy red fruits and cedarwood, followed by red plum. Generous red and black fruit characters run through the palate, with additional notes of Christmas cake spices, figs, dates and stewed plums. The wine shows excellent acidity, silky tannins and a long finish.
