Château Haute-Serre Cahors 2019 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Malbec grapes in the Cahors region of south-west France. While the Malbec wines of Mendoza in Argentina have enjoyed great success in recent years, Cahors is the home of the variety and produces a distinctively rustic, earthy style with excellent fruit concentration and freshness derived from the region`s predominantly clay-limestone soils. This 2019 Cahors displays notes of rich dark fruits, mocha and dried balsamic herbs, with well-integrated oak spice and a sustained finish.
