Domaine Paul Pillot, established in 1900 by Jean-Baptiste Pillot, a barrel maker, who decided to focus full-time on his vines, is esteemed for its elegant and age-worthy wines. Today the estate is run by Thierry Pillot, who has brought the estate forward with both technological and sustainability advances.
The 2015 Les Grandes Ruchottes, presented in magnum, offers a nose of citrus lemon, shaved almond, and a touch of nutmeg, with pleasing complexity and nuance.
