Domaine Xavier Monnot Chassagne-Montrachet En Remilly 2018 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of En Remilly in the Chassagne-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. Former rugby player Xavier Monnot produces a powerful, full-bodied style of Chardonnay, using up to 30% new oak barrels for the maturation of his Premier Cru wines. "Mingling aromas of pear, honeycomb, nutmeg and spiced peach, the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly is medium to full-bodied ample and fleshy, with a textural attack, an open-knit core and a nicely defined finish.
