Situated in the Rio Negro Valley of northern Patagonia, Bodega Chacra is a winery founded in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta. His family is renowned for creating the iconic Italian wine Sassicaia. Chacra boasts three vineyards featuring exceptionally old Pinot Noir vines, some of them were planted in 1932. This particular release is made from younger vines, and it was designed to be consumed when still young. 50% of the wine was aged in concrete tanks and 50% in French oak barrels [15% new] for 11 months. 100% natural and unfiltered.
