Valentini Cerasuolo d`Abruzzo 2022 is a medium-bodied rosé wine from the Abruzzo region of central Italy. Widely regarded as one of Italy’s greatest winemakers, Edoardo Valentini produced wine commercially from 1956 until his death in 2006, which is the vintage of this remarkable Montepulciano d`Abruzzo. The estate makes just three wines. Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Cerasuolo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. "The 2022 Cerasuolo d`Abruzzo is entirely unexpected, tempting the imagination with a cascade of wild strawberries, dried citrus and roses, incense and crushed stone. It opens with a pleasant inner sweetness balanced by zesty acidity as crisp apple and autumnal spice collide with salty minerals and an almondy richness.
