Viña Carmen is one of Chile`s oldest and most prestigious wine producers, with a rich history dating back to 1850. Located in the Maipo Valley, near Santiago, Viña Carmen is recognized for their dedication to sustainable practices and their focus on expressing the distinct qualities of each grape variety. This release is a Carménère-dominant blend, with small percentages of Syrah, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose combines raspberries, blackberries and plums, along with hints of cedar and spices. On the palate, the wine is full bodied but approachable, boasting a silky texture and fine tannins.
