Capovilla Grappa di Bassano is a premium eau de vie produced from Nebbiolo grapes by Capovilla in the Veneto region of northern Italy. Known for using only the highest quality ingredients, Capovilla is a boutique producer of grappa and fruit brandies based in the city of Vicenza. The distillery was founded in 1986 by former race-car mechanic Vittorio Gianni Capovilla who is now widely recognised as one of the best distillers in the world. Grappa di Bassano is the distillery`s flagship grappa, and is made from the pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Vespaiolo grapes. Expect an elegant, floral eau-de-vie with notes of pear blossom, orchard fruits and a hint of lychee.
