The first vintage of Capo di Stato was the 1964 and the label has continuously grown in reputation since then. Made from a blend of old clones of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, it is a robust and powerful red wine. The bouquet is rich and complex, with notes of fruit jam, black cherries, vanilla and sweet spices. The palate is structured, smooth and warm, well-balanced and persistent.
