Caballo Loco Blanco No 1 is a full-bodied, blended white wine produced by Viña Valdivieso in the Central Valley of Chile. Inspired by the great whites of Rioja, Kiwi winemaker Brett Jackson produces this maverick, multi-region blend from about 45% Chardonnay with 55% other white and red grape varieties including Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Moscatel, Semillon and Viognier. Long oxidative ageing of wines from vintages between 2017 and 2020 has produced a hugely complex, floral, aromatic white wine with excellent ageing potential.
