Bushmills 25 Year Old, a triple-distilled single malt whiskey from 100% malted barley, spends four to six years in Oloroso sherry butts and Bourbon barrels before a 21-year finish in first-fill ruby port pipes. It presents a red gold hue. The nose unveils a rich, complex bouquet of ripe hedgerow dark fruits, honey, and subtle toasted wood, hinting at its age. The palate is a luxurious medley of sweet almond, caramelized cherries, plums, and blackberries, evolving into a rich dark chocolate realm with sweet spices, ending on a honey and damson note. The finish leaves a lasting impression of warm oak, port sweetness, and gentle spice, beckoning for another indulgent sip.
