This Octomore 10.2 edition spent the first four years of its life in fresh bourbon barrels, before being transferred into French Sauternes casks. The result is a beautifully rich and oily dram, with the classic Octomore sweet and smoky combination coming to the fore. On the finish, notes of toasted oak and smoke are tempered by honey, orange and hints of clove.
