First released in 1985, Bricco dell’ Uccellone is a serious, cellar-worthy wine produced entirely from much lower-than-usual yields of Barbera grapes, from a single vineyard in Rocchetta Tanaro. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barriques, the wine offers generous fruit flavours, a polished tannic structure, with the added complexity of Barbera’s typical crisp acidity.
