Domaine Laurent Roumier Bonnes-Mares 1999 is a mature-vintage Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru of Bonnes-Mares in the Côte de Nuits. Laurent Roumier is the cousin of Christophe Roumier and grandson of Georges Roumier. Since 1991 he has managed a small domaine of mainly rented vineyards from which he crafts elegant, terroir-focused wines, typically with destemmed fruit for reds. The 1999 vintage Bonnes-Mares is a beautifully layered wine, with notes of red and black berry fruit, bright acidity and a fine seam of minerality.
