Drouhin-Laroze Bonnes-Mares 2008 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru climat of Bonnes-Mares in the Chambolle-Musigny commune of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Drouhin-Laroze is a long-standing wine producer with a history that can be traced back to the 19th century. Today, the estate is run by Philippe and Christine Drouhin, with the assistance of their children Caroline and Nicolas. This 2088 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru comes from the domaine’s 1.5-hectare parcel, situated exclusively on the Chambolle-Musigny side. "This is also strongly reduced. The tautly muscled and imposingly sized flavours are very tight and backwards and it`s clear that this is going to be a long distance runner as the finish is austere, strict and very serious. There is however excellent underlying material and impeccable balance but again, this is a `buy and forget` wine." Burghound, 2010
