Varoilles Bonnes-Mares 1985 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru climat of Bonnes-Mares in the Chambolle-Musigny appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Domaine des Varoilles was a well-regarded Gevrey-Chambertin-based property which merged with Domaine Paul Misset to become Domaine du Couvent from the 109 vintage. This is the old domaine`s Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares from the 1985 vintage and offers mature fruit notes with hints of sweet tobacco, truffle and earth.
