Blankiet Estate’s historic vineyard sits on the slopes of the Yountville AVA, just behind the Napanook estate. The Proprietary Red is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser parts Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is a dense, plush-textured wine with notes of cassis, pencil lead and tobacco.
