Currently owned by Treasury Wine Estates, Beringer is California`s longest continuously operating winery dating back to the1870s. An enduring household name, the estate offers a wide portfolio ranging from entry-level table wines to age-worthy, single-vineyard expressions. This 1995 Merlot hails from the mountainous Bancroft Ranch vineyard, covering approximately 36 hectares. Despite threatening weather conditions, California had a very good 1995 vintage, with top-quality wines still drinking well now.
