Giuseppe Tosolini, better known as Bepi, started distilling in 1943 and quickly made a name for himself as a producer of incredibly high quality grappa at a time when it was still considered a cheap and rough spirit for those who could not afford more luxurious spirits. Still family owned and operated, the company now also has a range of premium liqueurs. This is a delicious liqueur made with Fragoline di Bosco – wild strawberries – infused in alcohol for over four months. A sweet treat simply by itself but it is wonderful poured over vanilla ice cream.
