A sister gin to Beefeater, Crown Jewel was originally released in 1993 and aimed at the travel retail market. It has been relaunched in 2022, made to the same recipe as the standard Beefeater Gin, but with the addition of a tenth botanical, grapefruit peel. It’s a beautifully balanced gin, with plenty of juniper and hints of parma violet, candied citrus fruit, liquorice and white pepper.
