Bedrock is a young project by Morgan Twain-Peterson MW and his old friend Chris Cottrell. Together they have been focusing on helping to preserve old, historic vineyards in California and expressing their character. This Syrah from the single vineyard Bien Nacido is slightly restrained on the nose, with hints of violets, cassis and spices. On the palate, cracked black pepper, meat, dark fruits and liquorice come through, followed by a crisp acidity and finishing on an earthy note.
