Baron de Sigognac is a longstanding independent producer and holds the distinction of being one of the oldest houses in Armagnac. It is owned by the Guasch family, who oversee 42 hectares of exceptional Bas-Armagnac terroir. This vintage Armagnac was distilled in 1961, the same year that Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet cosmonaut, became the first human to orbit the Earth in space.
