Barolo Bricco Rocche Ceretto 1990

HED95372 75cl 13.5%
Ceretto Barolo Bricco Rocche 1999 is a full-bodied Nebbiolo red wine from the Barolo appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. based in Alba, Ceretto is one of the leading estates in Piedmont, both in terms of volume and quality. Asili is one of Italy`s greatest vineyards and arguably the best section of it is the Bricco at the top of the hill, where Ceretto owns a prized parcel of Nebbiolo vines. "Complex, ripe aromas of cherry, plum, marzipan, dried rose, earth and peppery spices. Big, lush and expansive but adamantly dry. A very full, layered Barolo with lovely vinosity and balance. Finishes with lush, very fine but strong tannins and insinuating, impressively persistent flavour. Possesses more than enough material to handle the 100% new barriques A superb bottle. According to Alessandro, this cuvee is Ceretto`s most complete Barolo, typically combining the character of the Brunate and Prapo." International Wine Cellar, 2002
